Heavy Equipment Handling During Your Relocation
Some relocations involve heavy or bulky items that require specialized handling: safes, servers, industrial machinery or oversized furniture.
Before moving day, our team evaluates:
- the weight and dimensions of the items to move
- access points and building constraints (stairs, elevators, doorways)
- the need for additional manpower or gear
- protection requirements for floors and walls
Our movers use professional dollies, straps and lifting techniques to move your heavy items safely.

How Much Does a Commercial Move Cost?
The price of a commercial relocation depends on several factors: the volume to move, access complexity, the distance to travel and the additional services you choose. For a local move, the budget is generally between $1,500 and $4,000.
If you are relocating over a long distance, expect $3,500 or more.
With our commercial moving company, the price covers a team of professional movers, inspected trucks, fuel and mileage within a 160 km radius, liability insurance and protective covers for your furniture. Packing, furniture assembly and temporary storage are options detailed in your free estimate.
Why Choose Our Commercial Moving Company?
Our movers are trained to handle heavy and sensitive items: safes, IT servers, confidential archives and technical furniture.
Our fleet of 20 to 30 foot trucks covers every need, and each load travels protected, with the gear needed for the heaviest items.
Recommended by CAA-Québec, Déménagement DMAX has over 2,000 Google reviews with an average rating above 4.9 out of 5. We have been moving organizations of every size since 2006.

FAQ: Company Relocation
How far in advance should I book my company's move?
To avoid any interruption in your operations, book your move as soon as the date is known. Ideally, plan 4 to 6 weeks ahead in normal periods. In high season, from May to September, slots fill up quickly: book 2 months in advance if possible, especially if the move involves several sites or a large volume.
This lead time also lets us plan around building access, elevator bookings and other constraints specific to your premises.
Where do your movers operate?
We work throughout Quebec, from our North Shore offices to every region we serve. Companies in Ontario and the Maritimes can also count on us. Whatever the origin or destination, every commercial relocation gets the same structured support.
Does an office move include installation?
On request, our office movers take care of disassembly, transport and reassembly of your furniture and professional equipment, so everything is installed and operational in your new premises. This service is detailed in your estimate.
How are your rates set?
Our estimates are adjusted to your needs, the volume to move and logistical constraints. This flexibility keeps our rates competitive without compromising on quality or organization.
What insurance coverage protects my belongings?
Liability insurance of $2,000,000 and cargo protection of $100,000 per transport unit. You receive your contract in writing, along with a detailed estimate, ahead of moving day.
